Wondergarden is back this year with a huge line up of New Zealand’s most exciting artists. It is a family friendly festival which kicks off at Silo Park at 2pm. So why not start just around the harbour at Giraffe for a beautiful lunch overlooking the boats. If there is a group of you, we recommend the Roasted Milk-Fed Lamb with pomegranate & mint sauce, perfect for 6 people and a real festive treat!

3. MR TOMS
Ponsonby is always a good choice, and, for New Year’s Eve, MR TOMS is the ideal place to get in the mood. The sun is always shining on that side of the strip, and MR TOMS Summer Sessions start at 4pm. Live music and cocktail specials galore, including our personal favourite – Frosé! Music, fruity drinks and shared plates of Beef Short Ribs and Lamb Ribs in the sun with mates sounds like a perfect New Year’s Eve situation to us!
